General Information

Suppress New Jersey electronic file(s) when filing federal return or extension electronically
If this box is marked, the application creates the federal electronic file only and suppresses the New Jersey electronic return.
Suppress return and extension electronic files when only filing other returns electronically
If this box is marked, the application will suppress the creation of electronic file for the New Jersey corporation business tax return Form CBT-100/CBT-100S, and the extension Form CBT-200-TC/CBT-200TS when only filing corporate estimate and/or the annual report electronically. To suppress the corporate estimates electronic files select
Suppress estimate electronic file(s)
in the Estimate Information section of this screen. To suppress the annual report electronic file, select
Suppress annual report when only filing other returns electronically
in the Annual Report Information section of this screen.
Electronic funds withdrawal for balance due returns: Requested payment date
Enter the date of electronic funds withdrawal (direct debit) of the amount due on the tax return.
Electronic filing lets electronic filers with a balance due to authorize an electronic funds withdrawal from their checking or savings account. Electronic filers can use this to file early and set a date for automatic payment if there's a balance due.

If using electronic funds withdrawal for the return,
Requested payment date
is mandatory.

In addition to entering the requested payment date, you'll need to enter bank account information in either the federal Bank screen or the New Jersey NJBank screen.
Electronic funds withdrawal for extension: Requested payment date
Enter the date to direct debit the amount due on the extension. You may enter a date no later than the original due date of the extension.
Credit card: Return balance due

If this box is marked, electronic files don't generate for any estimated payments.
Electronic funds withdrawal for Form CBT-150 / CBT-150S estimated payments

to create electronically filed quarterly estimated payments. The application generates an electronic funds withdrawal payment for the Form CBT-150 or CBT-150S vouchers that are marked to print and have an amount greater than zero. Enter estimate information in the NJEst screen.

To instruct the client to pay by electronic funds transfer instead of electronic withdrawal, leave these boxes blank. To instruct the client to pay online, visit the Online Payment Options section of the NJLetter screen.
Withdrawal Date
Enter a date earlier than the quarterly due date for the electronic funds withdrawal of the respective quarter’s Form CBT-150 or CBT-150S estimate amount. If a box is blank, the application uses the quarterly due date of the estimate.

Annual Report Information

Suppress annual report when only filing other returns electronically
If this box is marked, the application doesn't generate an electronic file for the annual report.
Electronic funds withdrawal for annual report balance due returns: Requested payment date
Enter the date of electronic funds withdrawal (direct debit) of the amount due on the annual report.
Electronic filing lets electronic filers with a balance due to authorize an electronic funds withdrawal from their checking or savings account. Electronic filers can use this to file early and set a date for automatic payment if there's a balance due.
