Income (loss)
These fields reflect the taxable income or net operating loss for each of the preceding periods. Enter the taxable income or net operating loss from Form CIT-1, line 4 for each of the 8 prior taxable years. Enter profit amounts as positive numbers and loss amounts as negative numbers.
Prior Year (Income Offset) NOL Utilized
Enter one of the following:
  • The amount of the loss reflected in the
    Income / (Loss)
    column that was utilized in prior years. Enter the amount as a positive number.
  • The amount of income reflected in the
    Income /(Loss)
    column that was offset with net operating loss carrybacks. Enter the amount as a negative number.

Enter information regarding net operating loss adjustments in the statement. This information prints as an attachment to the return.
