Use this screen to enter or verify information necessary to complete the PA Depreciation Adjustment Worksheet and PA Schedule E, Rent and Royalty Income (Loss). All depreciation and amortization information transfers directly to the PADeprS screen from the application asset data entry and then transfers to the PA Depreciation Adjustment Worksheet and PA Schedule E. Note that if you want to override depreciation and/or amortization amounts on Schedule E you'll need to enter the information in this screen.

- When detailed asset data entry isn't used, depreciation information needs to be entered in this screen to provide the depreciation or amortization amounts on the PA Depreciation Adjustment Worksheet and PA Schedule E.
- The application provides a global option to specify how to enter asset information. Enter it either in the asset module or on the various depreciation input screens. When specifying the use of the asset module as the method of asset data entry, this input screen isn't applicable and the depreciation tab for this input screen doesn't appear. For additional information, see the Asset module overview.
- If not using the asset module and you want to override depreciation or amortization amounts on the relevant forms, enter the information in this input screen.
