F990PF-065-02 e-file error

Missing Data: /Return/ReturnData/IRS990PF: If Form 990-PF, [ Item H, checkbox 'Organization501c3ExemptPFInd' or checkbox 'Organization4947a1TrtdPFInd' is checked ] and ['AtLeast5000InAssetsInd' has a choice of 'Yes' indicated OR 'TotalAssetsEOYAmt' is greater than 5000], then 'OnlyContriToPreselectedInd' checkbox must be checked OR at least one complete entry for submission information (Lines 2a through 2d) must be provided. (rule F990PF-065-02)
The return is missing data entry.

Solution

  1. Go to the
    Supp
     screen in the
    990PF
     folder.
  2. Open the
    Name, address, and telephone number to whom applications should be addressed
     statement window and verify that the following fields are completed:
    • Name
    • Address 1
    • City
    • State
    • Zip
    • Phone Number
  3. If Form 990-PF Part XV, Line 2 should be marked, mark the
    Makes contributions to preselected charitable organizations only
     field on the
    Supp
     screen.
  4. If Form 990-PF Part XV, Line 2 should be blank, go to the
    Supp
     screen and fill out the following statements:
    • Application format and required contents
      : Goes to Form 990-PF Part XV Line 2b
    • Submission deadlines
      : Goes to Form 990-PF Part XV Line 2c
    • Restrictions or limitations on awards:
       Goes to Form 990-PF Part XV Line 2d
