This input screen applies only to organizations that are not private foundations.
Multiple Fundraising Events
Enter the appropriate code to report multiple fundraising events in a single unit. If you use code

to indicate each event is greater than $5000, also complete the
Number of Fundraising Events
. If you use code

, the cumulative amount reports on Forms 990/990EZ and not on Schedule A, Part VII.
Number of fundraising events greater than $5,000 each
Complete the number of events where each event’s funds exceeded $5,000. This amount displays in Column C of Schedule A, Part VII, in addition to other reported events.

Form 990-T Information

Unrelated business activity
If you enter an unrelated business activity on Screen ActivT, it's available to choose here. Designating an activity as unrelated to business allows income information to report on Form 990, 990EZ, or 990PF and on Form 990-T.
Form 990-T code
If you enter an unrelated business activity code, but not a Form 990-T code, the information prints on Form 990-T, Page 1, but not on any of the schedules on Form 990-T, Pages 3, 4, or 5.

Schedule A, Part VI

Net unrelated income / loss
If the unrelated business operation is reported on Form 990-T, Schedule A, Part VI, enter the net unrelated business taxable income of the controlled organization.
Specified payments included in controlling organization’s gross income (Force)
If the total amount of specified payments included in the controlling organization’s gross income is not equal to the sum of gross receipts less returns plus advertising, circulation, and other income amounts entered in the Event-2 screen and reported in column 4 (exempt) or column 9 (nonexempt), enter the desired amount for Form 990-T, Schedule A, Part VI.
Taxable income
Enter the taxable income of the controlled organization, calculated as though it is not-exempt from tax under section 501(a). This is applicable only to controlled organizations with
Non-Exempt Type
(code 2).
Excess taxable income (State use only)
Excess taxable income is the amount by which the controlled organization’s taxable income is more than the taxable income that, if earned directly by the controlling organization, would not be unrelated business taxable income.
