Options > Asset List tab
Use this tab to specify which columns should appear in the asset module's Asset List window for the open client.
To open this tab when the Asset List window or Asset Detail window is open, select Setup, Options then select the Asset List tab.

Fields and buttons
Columns available
This pane shows all columns available to select (but not currently selected) for inclusion in the Asset List window for the open client. Double-click a column to move it to the Columns selected pane.
Columns selected
This pane shows all columns currently selected for inclusion in the Asset List window for the open client.
- Toaddan item from the Columns available pane, double-click the item.
- Tochangea column's relative position in the Asset List window, select it, then select Move Up or Move Down .
- Toremovean item from this pane, double-click the item.
Move Up button
Select this to change the position of the highlighted column, moving it one position to the left in the Asset List window.
Move Down button
Select this to change the position of the highlighted column, moving it one position to the right in the Asset List window.
Restore Default button
Select this to change the client's column setup for the Asset List window to the default settings (Asset #, Description, In Service, Disposal Method, Tax Cost/Basis, Tax Current Depr, Group).
Display prior year disposals/transfers that occurred during the personal property assessment period ending
By default, this checkbox is not marked.
- When this checkbox isnotmarked and you advance to a new processing period, any assets that were disposed of in the prior year no longer appear in the Asset List window.
- When this checkboxismarked, if the assessment period end date is prior to the current fiscal year end, and you advance to a new processing period, any disposals and transfers from the prior year that would have been disposed of during the assessment period appear in a Prior Year Disposals/Transfers tab in the Asset List window. You can modify the association values that are assigned to these assets.If youdomark this checkbox, enter the personal property assessment period end date in the corresponding box.
note
If you are processing a California, Georgia, Florida, or Virginia personal property tax return that has a different assessment period than the client's current year end and need access to the association values for the prior-year disposals and transfers, mark this checkbox.
