Association Wizard Setup dialog

Use this window to set up or modify the default association values and asset class. The application will use these defaults based on the value that you select for the primary association when entering asset data.
Once you have set up a primary association, a Wizard button appears with the association field at the Asset Detail window. When you select an association value (by selecting the Wizard), the application automatically enters any default association values and the asset class that you specified in this window.
To open this window, open the Asset List window, select Setup, Associations, and select Wizard Setup.

Fields and buttons

All of the values you entered for the primary association are available from this dropdown list. You can use the Association Wizard to specify which values should be automatically entered for each of an asset's associations based on the value that you select for the primary association.
Select the association value for which you want to set up or modify the association values and asset class. You can also move through the association values using the navigation buttons.

Default association values to group box

Use these boxes to specify which values should be entered for an asset's associations when the selected primary association value is chosen for the asset.
Select this to enter information in the fields in the Default association values to group box. Use these to assign default association values for each association based on the selected primary association value.
Select this to accept changes you made in the Default association values to group box.

Default Method/Life Wizard asset class to group box

For each Method/Life Wizard type that the current client uses, select the asset class for the primary association value that is selected in the box.
Select this to enter information in the boxes in the Default Method/Life Wizard asset class to group box. Use these boxes to select the asset class for the primary association value that is selected in the box.
Select this to accept any changes you made in the Default Method/Life Wizard asset class to group box.
