Create and transmit electronic files

Follow these steps to create and transmit an electronic file.
  1. Review and address any ELF Critical Diagnostics. Select
    View
    ,
    Diagnostics
    , then the
    ELF Critical
    tab.
  2. Select
    File
    , then
    Print Returns
    to create the electronic file.
  3. Mark the
    Government copy
    ,
    Paper
    , and
    Create electronic file
    checkboxes.
  4. Select
    Print
    .
  5. Select
    Utilities
    , then
    CS Connect
    .
  6. Switch
    ($) Transmit returns
    to yes.
  7. Select the
    Electronic Filing
    tab.
  8. Select the client, then
    Connect
    to transmit the return.
  9. Answer the multi-factor authentication prompt on your mobile device to verify your sign-in.
