Create and transmit electronic files

Follow these steps to create and transmit an electronic file.

Review and address any ELF Critical Diagnostics. Select View
, Diagnostics
, then the ELF Critical
tab.

Select File
, then Print Returns
to create the electronic file.

Mark the Government copy
, Paper
, and Create electronic file
checkboxes.

Select Print
.

Select Utilities
, then CS Connect
.

Switch ($) Transmit returns
to yes.

Select the Electronic Filing
tab.

Select the client, then Connect
to transmit the return.

Answer the multi-factor authentication prompt on your mobile device to verify your sign-in.
