E-file batches of extensions

Before you create a batch extension, enter payment information and due dates for the extensions that need it. Make sure you've filled these out for your returns:
  • Change the due date in the
    Extended due date
    field.
  • Verify you've filled out the
    Payment
    or
    Liability
    extension options for your client's return.
  • Enter
    Electronic funds withdrawal
    or
    Bank information
    for each extension.
Save time by filing batches of extensions.
  1. Select
    File
    , then
    Print Extensions
    .
  2. Mark the
    Paper
    or
    Create electronic file
    checkboxes.
  3. Select
    Clients
    .
  4. Select
    Select
    for each client you want to include.
  5. Select
    OK
    .
  6. Select
    Options
    , then the
    Extension Print Options
    tab.
  7. Mark the
    First extension
    or
    Second extension
    checkbox.
  8. Select
    OK
    .
  9. Select
    Print
    or
    E-File
    on the
    Print
    window.
Now that you've set up your batch, you can mail the returns to your clients or transmit them.
