Print reports for e-file status events

UltraTax CS includes comprehensive reports for various status events in the electronic filing process. You can use these reports to manage your clients' returns, especially for electronic filing deadlines. You can filter these reports by application, status, return type, and more.

Print a report for electronic files not yet transmitted

To print a report that lists clients whose electronic files haven’t yet been transmitted, follow these steps.
  1. Select
    Utilities
    , then
    Client Listing Reports
    .
  2. Select
    Client ELF Summary
    , then
    Continue
    .
  3. Select a client, then select
    Select
    .
  4. In the ELF Filters group box, select
    Not transmitted
    from the
    By status
    dropdown, and select
    Tax Returns
    from the
    Returns
    dropdown.
  5. Select
    Print
    to print the report, or select
    Preview
    to view the report before you print it.

Print unsigned electronically filed returns

To print a report that lists unsigned electronically filed returns when a signature document is required to be signed and returned by the taxpayer, follow these steps.
  1. Select
    Electronic Filing Status
    .
  2. Select
    Column Preferences
    .
  3. Select
    Primary
    from the dropdown for the
    Signature
    column title.
  4. Select
    Done
    .
  5. Filter the
    Signature Document
    column, and select
    To Sign
    .
  6. Select
    Print
    .
  7. In the Print what group field, select
    Standard e-file report
    .
  8. Select
    Print
    to print the report, or select
    Preview
    to view the report before you print it.
