Enter firm information

UltraTax CS uses basic firm information to print on forms, automatically populate input screens, and process returns. The firm name and address is automatically added when you install your license. You'll need to enter your EIN, phone number, and fax number (if applicable).
Do the following to enter firm information:
  1. In UltraTax CS, go to the
    Setup
    menu.
  2. Select
    System Configuration
    .
  3. On the
    Firm
    tab, make sure the firm information is correct. If it isn't, the Firm Licensee will need to sign in to tax.tr.com and go to
    My Account
    then
    Manage Firm
    and change it.
  4. Enter your Employer Identification Number (EIN).
    note
    If you applied for but haven't received an EIN, enter an "A" or a hyphen. UltraTax CS will print "Appl'd For" on the return in place of the EIN.
  5. If needed, enter or update your telephone number and fax number.
  6. Select
    OK
    to save all changes.
