Integrate with CS Suite

Transfer UltraTax CS client information to Toolbox CS

You can send a list of all UltraTax CS clients to ToolBox CS, then import the list into ToolBox CS. The list includes the UltraTax CS client ID, SSN/EIN, name, and address for each client.
  1. In UltraTax CS, select
    Help
    , then
    Repair
    .
  2. Select the
    Misc
     tab.
  3. Select
    ToolBox CS
     in the Populate CS Applications group box, 
    note
    ToolBox CS is only available if you've installed it. If it's still missing, go to
    Setup
    ,
    User Preferences
    , the
    File Locations
     tab, then select
    Other
     and set the correct location.
  4. Select
    Populate
    .
    This will send the UltraTax CS client information to ToolBox CS.
  5. In ToolBox CS, select
    File
    , then
    Import Clients
    .
  6. Verify that the correct path displays in the
    Import Clients
     window.
    note
    Use
    Browse
     to select the correct path, if needed.
    If you're running UltraTax CS through Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS), you can find the files on your local network.
  7. Select
    Import
    .
  8. Select
    Clients
    , then
    All Clients
     in the navigation pane to view the results of your import.
