Scenario

You may get the following error message when you are trying to print an organizer from
UltraTax CS
to
Onvio
:
Error message
WebOrganizer send failed on file.

Solution

  1. Verify Client Information:
    • Ensure the SSN and email address in
      UltraTax CS
      match those in
      Onvio
      .
    • The SSN and email address must be unique to the client.
  2. Check
    Onvio
    Settings:
    • Go to
      Setup
      then
      All Contacts
      in
      Onvio Client Center
      .
    • Find the client and ensure they are marked as the
      Tax Matters Contact
      in the
      Relationships
      section.
    • Ensure the contact is registered in the
      Client Center Access
      section.
  3. Retry Printing:
    • In
      UltraTax CS
      , go to
      Utilities
      >
      Onvio Integration
      .
    • Check
      Populate Onvio client(s) and contact(s)
      and select
      Continue
      .
    • Attempt to print the organizer to
      Onvio
      again.
  4. Remove Duplicate Contacts:
    • In
      Onvio
      , go to
      Setup
      >
      All Contacts
      and search for the client's email address.
    • Delete any duplicate contacts, especially those with a blank SSN field.
  5. Final Attempt:
    • Print the organizer to
      Onvio
      again.
