Screen TYPOA — Texas PPT — Power of Attorney

Overview

Use this screen to enter general, representative / appointee, and tax matter information in order to designate a representative for specific tax matters and/or to revoke a designation. If you have entered power of attorney at the federal level, UltraTax CS defaults to the federal entries for fields identified as force fields in this screen.
note
All county power of attorney forms, except for Dallas, Harris, and Tarrant Counties, are to be completed using this input screen.

General Information

Use this section to enter general information for the Texas power of attorney.

Property for which authority is granted: Appointment is for the following properties only
In the statement dialog, enter the appointment’s properties.

Enter the date that the agent’s authority ends.
Signatory information: Name / Title
Enter the title and firm name for the signature block if not signed by the property owner.

Agent's Information

Use this section to enter information about the agent receiving authorization if the information differs from that entered in federal Screen POA.
Name / Address / Telephone number
If the agent’s name, address, and telephone number for Texas differs from the federal information, enter the state information in these fields.

Property Tax Matters Information

Use this section to specify the agent’s authority for property tax matters and for delivery of property tax notices.
