Overview

Use this screen to select custom paragraphs and election statements.

Custom Paragraphs

Use this section to select custom paragraphs for use in the client documents.
Number
Enter the paragraph number that corresponds to the custom paragraph to use with this client, or use
F4
 to go to a list of available paragraphs. UltraTax CS prints the selected paragraph in the client document.
note
To create custom paragraphs:
  1. Select
    Setup
     then the
    Virginia PPT
     tab under the name of the product.
  2. Select
    Filing Instructions
    , then select the
    Custom Paragraphs
     tab.
Description
UltraTax CS automatically updates this field with the paragraph description associated with the selection made in the
Number
 field for the custom paragraph.

Elections

Use this section to select election statements to be attached to the client’s return.
Number
Enter the election number that corresponds to the election statement required for this client. UltraTax CS prints up to three election statements with the return.
note
To create election statements:
  1. Select
    Setup
     then the
    Virginia PPT
     tab under the name of the product.
  2. Select
    Tax Elections
    .
Description
UltraTax CS automatically updates this field with the election description associated with the selection made in the
Number
 field for the election.
