UltraTax/Wisconsin PPT prints one copy of Form M-P, Wisconsin Manufacturing Personal Property Return for each unit of Screen WJMfg.
Location Information
Use this section to complete location information for Form M-P.
Unit
UltraTax CS automatically enters the next available number. If desired, you can overwrite this number, but you cannot leave the field blank. UltraTax CS uses this information to gather and coordinate information for the assessable business location.
Property location’s street address
UltraTax CS transfers the street address that you entered in the
Location
field in the Asset Detail dialog. UltraTax CS creates one property tax return for every unique street address entered. In order for the assets in the Asset tab to transfer correctly, you need to go to the Asset tab, select Setup > Associations, and choose Enable. Highlight
Location
and then click the Properties button. Add the street address for each return you would like to create. Once that is complete, go to Edit > Reassign Assets and then assign a
Location
to the assets.

State identification number
Enter the state identification number.
Local account number
Enter the local account number assigned by the assessor.
Local parcel number
Enter the local parcel number if not leased any property.

Enter the county name in which the business is located, or press F4 to select a county from the fieldview.
Municipality
Enter the municipality in which the business is located, or press F4 to select a municipality from the fieldview.
Real estate owner information
Use these fields to enter the real estate owner’s name and street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and email address for this return only.
Consolidate this personal property location with those of matching account numbers

to consolidate multiple personal property locations onto one return. All units with matching account numbers must have this field completed to be included on the consolidated return. Consolidation occurs only for units with matching account numbers.
General Information
Use this section to complete general information for Form M-P.
Business or property owner’s name
Enter the business or property owner’s name. If there is no separate business name, the property owner’s name prints in the mailing address field and appears as the legal name of the taxpayer.

In this statement dialog, enter detail of property transferred into or out of each property classification in previous years. UltraTax CS uses this information to complete the Additions, Disposals, and Transfers at Cost column of the applicable Schedule of Form M-P.

UltraTax CS calculates current-year additions. Therefore, they do not need to be entered in this statement.
