Send UltraTax CS items via email and CS Connect overview
UltraTax CS offers several ways to send information. Deciding the information you want to send and to whom you want to send it will help you determine which method is best for your situation.
Send items to clients
You can send tax returns to your clients as Portable Document Format (PDF) files. In addition, if you use the Data Mining feature to create client letters, you can send these to your clients as Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
Send items to another computer or to others in your firm
You can send client data, documents, system settings, application settings, CS Connect updates, or Data Mining reports, letters, or searches to an encrypted file that UltraTax CS attaches to a blank email message; you can send this file via email to another computer or to others in your firm.

There may be times when you need to send client data to CS Support to troubleshoot application issues. UltraTax CS enables you to send the client data via CS Connect.
