Address assets that didn't proforma in a client

If some or all the assets in an UltraTax CS client are missing and didn't proforma, do the following. Your options vary, so review each section to determine what course of action to take.

File locations

Make sure your file locations are pointing to the correct location. This is especially important if you see that assets didn't proforma for multiple clients.

Re-proforma

If you haven't worked in the client yet, or if you don't mind starting over with a freshly proforma'd client, you can re-proforma. Because of the way depreciation proformas, you'll need to delete the current-year client before you proforma again.
  1. In the current year, open the client and go to
    File
    , then
    Delete Client
    .
  2. If you're using Fixed Assets CS or SaaS, mark the
Delete Fixed Assets CS client data
    checkbox.
  3. Select
    Delete
    .
  4. In the current year, select
    Utilities
    ,
    Proforma
, then select the client and proforma.
If you don't want to delete and re-proforma, you can proforma a copy of the prior-year client then copy/paste the assets from the copied client into the actual client.
