Install and Uninstall Citrix

Download and reinstall Citrix Workspace

Once Citrix Workspace is uninstalled and all Citrx-related files are removed, you can download and reinstall a new copy.
  1. Sign in to
    NetStaff CS
     .
  2. In the
    NetStaff CS
     tab of the navigation pane, select
    Applications
    .
  3. Go to the Setup menu and then select
    Citrix
     from the Downloads section.
  4. Install Citrix Workspace one of the following ways depending on your browser:
    • Chrome
      1. Select
        VOCitrixWorkspace.exe
        . If you're using Windows 10, you'll need to select
        Open in Folder
         then right-click the file and select
        Run as administrator
        .
      2. In the
        Setup‒VO Citrix
         window, select
        Install
        .
      3. Select
        Finish
         when the installation is finished.
    • Firefox
      1. In the
        Opening VOCitrixWorkspace.exe
         window, select
        Save File
        . If you're using Windows 10, you'll need to select
        Save File
         then right-click the file and select
        Run as administrator
        .
      2. Double-click
        VOCitrixWorkspace.exe
         in the
        Downloads
         window.
      3. In the
        Open File‒Security Warning
         window, select
        Run
        .
      4. Select
        OK
         when the installation is finished.
    • Microsoft Edge
      1. In the
        File Download‒Security Warning
         window, select
        Run
        . If you're using Windows 10, you'll need to select
        Open in Folder
         then right-click the file and select
        Run as administrator
        .
      2. In the
        Citrix Online Plug-in Installation
         window, select
        OK
         when the installation is finished.
  • The Citrix Cleanup Utility is built into the Citrix install so this tool should only be used as a last resort. It should be used by the firm's qualified IT professional.
  • After you try the installation steps, if you're experiencing errors from older versions of a Citrix client, you can try to run the Citrix Cleanup Utility. You can find a copy of the Cleanup Utility in the Files section of the Web Services & FileCabinet team in Microsoft Teams.
