Set permissions for individual users
Permissions
Depending on how your site is set,
Permissions
can be based on either group permissions or individual user permissions.Navigate to
Admin
> Site settings
> Security
.The
Security
screen opens.
To enable individual permissioning, deselect the
Use groups for permissioning
check box and select Save
.If you have deselected this option, to set a user's permissions from the
User
page, click More actions
> Set permissions
for the user who needs permissions.
The
Set user permissions
screen opens.
You can select some
Module
based permissions, specific Files
permissions and also you can add a user to an Admin group
. Once you have set the permissions for the user, select Save
.note
If the
Use groups for permissioning
checkbox is selected, you cannot change a user's permissions on a user basis.
