Searching

Search within your Favourites

Use
Favourites
 with the
Search bar
 to limit your search results to practice areas, topics, sectors, subsectors, and resource types.
Before you can search within
Favourite
s, you'll need to have added at least 1 practice area, topic, sector, sub-sector, or resource type to your
Favourites
.
  1. On any Practical Law page, select
    Favourites
     from the toolbar.
    Practical Law shows your Favourites and Frequently Used Items, and enters
    Selected Favourites
     in the
    Search in
    box.
    tip
    Alternatively select the
    Favourites Menu
    , then choose from your Frequently Used Favourites.
  2. Mark the checkboxes to select the Favourites you want to search within, such as Groups of Favourites, individual Favourites, or Frequently Used Items.
    tip
    If you mark several Favourites to make a complex search criteria that you're likely to reuse, add them to a Group of Favourites. The next time you want to search within this Group of Favourites, you'll only need to mark a single checkbox.
  3. Use the
    Search bar
     to search within your Selected Favourites.
