Installation

important
  • Digita applications should be installed by a competent IT person.
  • Download our Network and Standalone Installation Guide and give it to your competent IT person.
  • Before you start, make sure you back up your databases with the Digita Database Backup tool.
The competent IT person will need to follow the steps in the Network and Standalone Installation Guide to download and install the updates according to your particular Digita installation.
Once the installation process is complete:
  • Standalone users can run the new version.
  • Dedicated Network Server and Peer-to-Peer Network users need to perform the node installations on each of your client workstations.
  • If you run a network installation, the nodes should update when you next open the Digita application.
