Return policy for Thomson Reuters legal products

If you're not completely satisfied with the legal products you purchased from Thomson Reuters, you may return them.
Returns must be received within 45 days of the ship date to receive credit. The ship date can be found in our self-service portal, My Account. If your header isn't My Account - US Legal, then follow the prompts in our updated self-service portal.
All expenses associated with returns are your responsibility. You'll lose any applicable discounts when returning part of a promotional sale. You can visit the returns history section in My Account to view the receipt of your return.

When you return a product

  • Return merchandise in its original packaging.
  • Use a trackable shipping method.
  • Insure the merchandise for its value.
  • Enclose a copy of the original delivery or billing document.
  • Include a brief explanation of the reason for the return.

Items not eligible for return

  • A refund cannot be issued for returned merchandise received after 45 days. In this situation, the merchandise will not be sent back to you.
  • Products included in, but not limited to, the following programs can't be separately canceled or returned and are nonrefundable:
    • Library Maintenance Agreement/Library Management Arrangement
    • Library Savings Plan
    • West Complete
    • Assured Print Pricing
    • WestPack
    • Special offer agreements
  • Thomson Reuters online hosted product and ProView eBooks are not eligible for returns.
