Split-deposit feature for bank account reconciliation
There are cases where you want to record a client's deposit transactions as one total transaction, but you need to partially clear the deposit on the bank reconciliation. Use the following steps to record a single deposit transaction, but have multiple deposit transactions displayed on the Actions > Reconcile Bank Accounts screen.

Accounts Receivable users:
Mark the
Split out deposit details
checkbox on the Actions > Enter Deposits screen to achieve the same results as the following steps.
Select
Actions
and then
Enter Transactions
.
On the
Details tab
, add a line item for each amount that appears separately in the bank reconciliation.

The text entered in the Description column will transfer over to the Actions > Reconcile Bank Accounts screen.
Select
Enter
to save the Deposit transaction.
Select
Actions
and then
Reconcile Bank Accounts.

Deposits & Additions
.
Each of the line items from the
Details
tab on
Enter Transactions
screen is displayed as a separate deposit that you can clear as necessary.
