Set up accounts payable transaction templates on the Rapid tab
Select
Setup
, then
Payable Templates
.
note
The
Rapid
tab is displayed by default.
In an empty row in the grid, enter an
ID
and
Description
for this template.
In
Template Type
, choose 1 of the following.
On demand
to create transactions from this template at any time. This is available from the
Enter Payables
screen in the following fields.
Temp/Amort
on the
Detail
tab.
Template
on the
Rapid
tab.

To show
Template
, you'll need to clear the
Hide Column
checkbox for the Template entry field in the
Options
window.
Scheduled
to have the application create transactions from this template on a defined schedule. Select the frequency in the Recurs column, then enter details on the
Detail
tab.
In
Vendor ID
, select the vendor or add one.
note
The application enters the corresponding vendor name in
Vendor
.
In
Type
, select the type of transaction that will be created from this template (
Payable
or
Credit memo
).
If all transactions created from this template will use the same information, enter or select that information in the following fields. Otherwise, leave the field blank and enter that information for each transaction created from this template.
Reference
— enter the transaction reference.
Amount
— enter the transaction amount.
Payment Term
— select the payment term or add one.
In
AP Account
, select the GL account or add one.
Use the Distributions grid to distribute the transaction to 1 or more GL accounts.

For each distribution, select the GL account, enter an amount and, if needed, select a 1099 item.
To add more transaction details, including notes, memos, and schedule details, select the
Detail
tab.

The application shows a note icon in the Notes column on the
