Error: We have encountered a problem processing a corrected 1099 form

Scenario

We have encountered a problem processing a corrected 1099 form.  If the 1099 form type is being corrected, ensure that both the Originally Filed and Corrected Form types are setup in the 1099 Properties tab in the Vendors setup screen for each recipient being corrected.  If the issue persists, please contact Support for assistance.

Solution 1: You're filing a corrected 1099 form that was originally filed using a different 1099 form type.

Make sure that both 1099 form types are listed.

Solution 2: You're correcting a 1099 form for a vendor with the one 1099 per transaction option selected.

Enter Transactions

Find the transaction with the
One 1099 per transaction
checkbox marked in the
1099 Details
window.
