Correct a payroll check when MICR line is missing or printing in the wrong font
Do the following if the MICR line is missing from your checks or if they're printing in the wrong font.

Try printing a check after each step. If unsuccessful, move on to the next step. If the MICR line prints correctly, there's no need to complete the remaining steps.
Restart your computer.
Reinstall Accounting CS on your computer:
Select
Start
,
Control Panel
, then
Program and Features
.
Select
Accounting CS
then
Uninstall
.
Go to your
WinCSI
folder, then select
Accounting CS
, then
Desktop
. Double-click the
setup.exe
file and follow the prompts to install Accounting CS.
Restart your computer when prompted.
Install the Windows fonts file from another working computer with Accounting CS installed on it (contact your IT Professional for more help with this step).
Make sure the check layout is correct:
In Accounting CS, select
File
then
Layout Designer
.
Double-click the layout you're using.
Select the MICR line variable
[VENDORACTIVITY.CHECK.MICRLINE]
. If it's not there, insert it from the
Variables
menu.
Select
Format
then
Text
and verify that the font is
CSI MICR E13B V2
.
Make sure the print properties are correct.

For Windows 11:
Select
Start
,
Control Panel
,
Hardware and Sound
, then
Printers
.
Right-click your printer then select
Properties
.
Go to the
Advanced
tab and mark or clear the
Enable advanced printing features
checkbox.
Try a different printer or print driver. Contact your IT Professional for more help with this step.
note
If you're using Virtual Office or SaaS, you may be able to resolve this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the Citrix application.
