Scenario
You may get the following error message when entering data on the
Enter Batch Payroll Checks
screen.

The selected payroll schedule is currently being processed by another user
Solution
Close Accounting CS.
Re-open Accounting CS and access the batch.
If you still get the message, close Accounting CS and reboot your machine.
Re-open Accounting CS and access the batch.
If the message persists, select
Setup
,
Clients
, then the
Payroll Information
tab.
Select the ellipsis in the Payroll Schedules section.
Edit the payroll schedule and change the
Time Entry Method
to
Manual
.
Select
Enter
to save the change to the payroll schedule, then
Done
to close the window.
Select
Enter
to save the changes to the client.
Select
Actions
then
Enter Batch Payroll Checks
.
note
If you imported information for the selected payroll schedule using remote payroll, you'll need to re-upload the timesheet to the client's portal and retrieve the timesheet again or enter the information manually after completing these steps.
