Workaround for importing timesheets from Timerack

Use these steps to import timesheets from Timerack using an XML file instead of the direct integration until Thomson Reuters and Timerack can fix the problem causing errors.
  1. In Timerack, save the timesheet or payroll report to a file, and then save the file on your computer.
  2. In Accounting CS, select
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    .
  3. Edit the client and go to the Payroll Information tab.
  4. Select the ellipsis button for the
    Payroll Schedules
     field.
  5. Edit the payroll schedule.
  6. In the
    Time Entry Method
     field, change the selection from Time Rack to
    Time clock
     (you'll change this back to
    Timerack
     when the issue is resolved).
  7. Select
    Enter
    ,
    Done
    , and
    Enter
     again to save the changes.
When you go to the
Enter Batch Payroll Checks
 screen and select the payroll schedule, the
Time Clock Import
 window will open. Browse to the file location where you saved the file you exported from Time Rack.
The next screen gives you an opportunity to review the information. When you're ready, select
Continue
 to create the payroll batch.
