Error: Unable to find QuickBooks installation on your computer

Scenario

You may get the following error message when trying to import QB data from the local QuickBooks.
Error message
Unable to find QuickBooks installation on your computer.

Cause

You need to install QuickBooks Pro, Premier (including the Accountant's edition), or Enterprise edition on the device where you'll complete the import.

Solution

Complete these steps to integrate the data from Quickbooks to Accounting CS on Virtual Office CS:
  1. Download and install the QuickBooks data utility from our website.
  2. Open the client in QuickBooks.
  3. Open the QuickBooks data utility.
  4. Select your file and date range.
  5. Export the file to create a
    CSExport
     file that has a long name with the dates.
  6. Open Accounting CS and go to
    File
    ,
    Import
    , then
    Client Data
    . Select
    Quickbooks
    .
  7. Go to the CSExport file location and select the file.
  8. Select
    Next
    .
