This article applies to:

Import and export layouts

Do the following to import a layout:

Select File
, then Layout Designer
.

Select File
, then Import
.

Go to to the location you want the layout to be imported.

Select Open
to open the layout in the designer grid.

note

You can't import layouts from Creative Solutions Accounting (CSA) or from Client Bookkeeping Solution (CBS).

Do the following to export a layout:

Select File
, then Layout Designer
.

Select the layout to be exported from the Layouts list frame. The layout doesn’t need to be open in the grid.

Select File
, then Export
.

Go to to the location where you want to save the file.

Change the file name if necessary.

Select Save
to save the export file.

The file name extension will change depending on the type of layout you are exporting. For example, an Accounts Payable Check will have an

.apc

extension like

Forms CS 129L Top Check MICR.apc

.
