Adjust the alignment of payroll tax forms
Follow these steps to adjust the alignment of payroll tax forms (1095-C, 1094-C, 1099, and W-2 only) in Accounting CS.

- To avoid having to make alignment adjustments when using preprinted laser forms, you may want to consider filing Federal Copy A electronically. You can also print black-and-white forms to unperforated paper and then generate facsimile forms from Accounting CS for all other copies.
- e recommend that you order your payroll year-end tax forms from Forms CS. If you choose to purchase payroll tax forms from another vendor, you may need to adjust the position of variables so that they print properly on the paper form.
- SelectFile, thenLayout Designer.
- Select
to expand the folder of the form to adjust, then expand the folder for the year. - Double-click the layout to open it.
- Use either of the following methods to adjust the alignment:
- To adjust the entire form, selectEdit, thenSelect All. Use the arrow keys to adjust the document.
- To adjust the alignment of an individual item, select the item to adjust and use the arrow keys to move it.
- SelectFile, thenSaveto save your changes.tipIf you need to undo your changes and return to the default form, selectFile, thenRestore Default.
