Error message

Unable to add the file for [client ID]. The following are either missing or incorrect: Pay State EIN.

This message displays when the state withholding ID is missing.

Select Setup
, then Clients
.

Make sure all state withholding IDs are entered.

Try processing the 1099 forms again.
