Locate state W-2 forms in the application
When a state form is listed as a Type W-2 in the
Payroll Taxes
tab of the Client
screen, the form can be found in 2 areas of the application:- Process Payroll Tax Formsscreen
- Edit Payroll Tax Formsscreen
Process Payroll Tax Forms
To access the screen select
Actions
then Process Payroll Tax Forms
. Here you can preview or print specified payroll tax forms for all or selected clients.- Form type: W-2.
- Select the appropriate year.
- Filing method, Filed by, and Status are optional.
- Select the state in theJurisdictiondropdown.
Edit Payroll Tax Forms
To access the screen select
Actions
then Edit Payroll Tax Forms
. Here you can preview or print specified payroll tax forms for 1 client.- Form type: W-2.
- Select the appropriate year.
- SelectRefresh.
- SelectTransmittalfrom theFormdropdown.
