Import 1095-C information
Follow these steps to import 1095-C information into Accounting CS.

The imported 1095-C information will replace any existing 1095-C information in Accounting CS for the client.
Select the source file

- Close the spreadsheet during the import process.
- Make sure that the spreadsheet isn't password-protected.
- SelectFile,Import, thenSpreadsheet.
- Select the client in theClient namefield.
- Select1095-Cfrom theData typedropdown.
- SelectBrowsein the Import File section. Go to the spreadsheet file you want to import.
- Select the worksheet within the spreadsheet file you want to import.
- Select the current or previous year data to import in the Data Year section.
- SelectNext.
Map spreadsheet columns
Follow these steps to map the spreadsheet columns to specific data fields in Accounting CS.
- If you're using a 1095-C Import Template spreadsheet, selectSample 1095-Cfrom theTemplatedropdown. SelectNextand continue with step 5.
- Mark theOmit rowcheckbox for any rows that you don't want to import.
- Select a column heading, then the item you want to map from theColumn <x>dropdown. - SelectNextwhen you're finished mapping the data.
- The application validates the spreadsheet data and highlights any invalid items. If necessary, correct the data. SelectNext.
note
The Electronic Statement Consent Indicator column, the Employee Detail Indicator column, and the Address column are included only for reference for the spreadsheet preparer. Leaving these columns blank and unmapped won't impact the import or export of the spreadsheet.
Review import diagnostics
After the import process is complete, review the Import Diagnostics screen for any exceptions. Select
Print
to print a list of the import diagnostics.After reviewing the import diagnostics, select
Finish
to close the Spreadsheet Import Wizard.
