Version 2024.2.1 release notes
We released version 2024.2.1 on July 23, 2024 with the following changes.
On July 9, 2024, Microsoft ended support for SQL Server 2014 and earlier. Therefore, your firm needs to have SQL Server 2016 or higher installed on the servers that run Accounting CS.

- This change doesn’t affect firms using Accounting CS on Virtual Office or Software as a Service (SaaS).
- We’re providing several reminders and alerts if you haven’t yet upgraded to SQL Server 2016 or higher in the following ways:
- A message displays when you open the application.
- A message displays in red text in the bottom right corner of the application.
- A message displays when you attempt to open CS Connect.
Bank feeds
We enhanced the data retrieval to get transaction reference numbers in different ways, depending on the data structure gathered from our bank feeds partner.
Accounting CS Payroll, for live payroll processing

We added the Employer pays full CCC tax checkbox to the State section of the Payroll Taxes
tab in the Clients

We added the following city taxes to the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA):

Pennsylvania
- We updated the following forms:
- Blair County Tax Collection Bureau - LST – Form Blair_LST
- We added the following taxes to the HAB-LST tax agent and removed them from their existing tax agents:
- Hastings, Borough of LST Cambria Heights S D (111203) - 42-021-1215024-LST-111203
- Penn, Township of LST Selinsgrove Area S D (557103) - 42-109-1217035-LST-557103
- We added the following tax to the Lancaster County Tax Collection Bureau – LST tax agent and removed it from its existing tax agent:
- East Cocalico, Township of LST Cocalico S D (361303) - 42-071-1216621-LST-361303
- We updated the form filing addresses on the following tax agents:
- Franklin County Area Wage Bureau - EIT
South Carolina
- We combined Forms UCE-101 and UCE-120 into a single form and renamed the collation (Form UCE-120) for form processing.
- We updated Forms UCE-120 and UCE-120A.
