Change the format of date variables
By default, the date variables in the Report Designer are formatted as Month D, YYYY (e.g., January 1, 2015), but you can do the following to change the date format.
- SelectFilethenReport Designer.
- Expand one of the Report folders from the Reports list and double-click a report to open it in the design grid.
- Select the cell that contains the date variable.
- SelectFormat,Cells, then theFormattab.
- SelectDate & Timefrom the Category list, then select the date format to apply from the Type list.
