  • Pursuant to Public Act 97-0689, employers with a cumulative total of 25 or more employees in the prior calendar year are required to submit monthly wage reports electronically. Employers will continue to submit quarterly contribution and wage reports, and submit eight additional monthly wage report.

    Process Payroll Tax Forms

    Edit Payroll Tax Forms
    screen. The Illinois Monthly SUTA Filing Report is filed for the first and second months of each quarter: January and February; April and May; July and August; October and November. You can use the worksheet to reconcile and create the internet file to comply with the monthly filing requirements. This internet file can then be uploaded via the MyTax Illinois website.

  • Employers who are semiweekly filers are required to remit withholding tax payments via EFT.
  • Employers who are monthly filers can remit their taxes via EFT on a voluntary basis.
