Reset user interface settings
User interface settings are used to store user-specific configuration information such as sign-in information, window pane positions and sizing, grid and column positions, sizing, ordering, search and filter settings, and more. For the application, these settings are stored in the
ClientSettings.xml
file located in the user's local application data path, such as %localappdata%\Creative Solutions\Accounting CS
.For potential maintenance needs, you can delete the
ClientSettings.xml
file and a new file will be created with the default settings the next time you open the application.- SelectHelpthenReset User Interface Settingsto delete the file and reset the settings.
- Close and reopen the application.

- You can rename theClientSettings.xmlfile by going to the user's local application data path.
- To access the user's local application data path, go to Windows File Explorer and enter%localappdata%\Creative Solutions\Accounting CSin the address bar, which will go to the full path, such asC:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Creative Solutions\Accounting CS.
- Your staff password isn't saved when your user interface is reset. You'll need to enter it again when you sign in.
