Flatten PDF files
By flattening a PDF file, that PDF will no longer be interactive and you therefore remove the ability for that document to be edited by the receiver.
PDF forms and PDF files which contain images, headers, digital signatures, redaction layers (using a redaction software, or the redaction functionality on Adobe etc) should be flattened, whether you share these documents outside of Case Center or you upload them into a case on Case Center.
The PDF software you have (like Adobe Acrobat DC) has a flatten function. Alternate methods for flattening PDF files follows.
