Keyword Search in Checkpoint

You can search by keyword within each of the Practice Areas in Checkpoint

  1. On the homepage, select
    a Practice Area
    .
    Example:
    Federal
    If you select the
    State
     Practice Area, you'll also need to select one or more states, tax types, and document types.
  2. If you're doing an Intuitive search, enter 4 or more words in the form of a question in the search field, and choose the
    Intuitive Search
     option.
  3. If you're doing a Terms & Connectors search, enter specific words or phrases and any search connectors in the search field, and choose the
    Terms & Connectors
     option.
    You can also use the Query Tool to get help putting together your search. It offers help with search restrictions, connectors, and thesaurus and spelling tools.
  4. By default, Checkpoint
    Edge
     searches all sources you're subscribed to for a practice area. If you want to narrow your results to specific categories or sources, select Sources to expand the list and make your selection.
  5. Choose a suggestion that appears in the auto-suggestion field, or select Run your search to run your search.
