With the Sales & Use Rate Lookup tool in Checkpoint

, you can get up-to-date state and local sales and use tax rates for any jurisdiction in the United States.
  1. Select
    Tools
    , then
    All Tools
    .
  2. Select
    Sales & Use Rate Lookup
    .
    If you want to compare rates in a jurisdiction over time, select
    Compare Rates
     under Sales & Use Rate Lookup.
  3. Choose a method to search:
    • Zip Code
    • State
      ,
      County
      ,
      City
    • State
      ,
      City
  4. Enter the jurisdiction location based on your choice.
  5. Enter dates for the rate lookup:
    • For Sales & Use Rate Lookup, enter a
      Rate as of
       date or use the
      Calendar
       to select a date.
    • For Compare Rates, enter a
      Start Effective Date
       and an
      End Effective Date
      , or use the
      Calendar
       to select dates.
  6. Select
    Search
    .
