Error: HTTP status 403
A HTTP status 403 error is due to network rules. Ask your IT person for help or make sure additional websites are added to the firewall.
Scenario
You may get the following error message when installing Checkpoint Tools.
Error message
HTTP status 403: The client does not have sufficient access rights to the requested server object.
Cause
This is a network restriction issue.
Solution
Contact your IT professional or add 3 fully qualified domain name exceptions to the firewall:
- ppcdownloads.thomsonreuters.com
- ppc.thomsonreuters.com.edgesuite.ne
- ppcservices.thomsonreuters.com
