Upload files from a DMS
Upload files to CoCounsel from your document management system (DMS) to a matter:
- Upload files from your DMS in 3 different ways:
- Create a new or open an existing chat with the AI Assistant.
- Create a new or select an existing matter.
- Create a new or select an existing database.
- SelectUpload from external DMSthen select a connector.noteIf there are no connections set up, you may get the following message:No connectors have been set up yet. Please contact CoCounsel administrator.
- If it's your first time using a connector, you'll need toAuthorizethe connector.
- After selectingAuthorize, you'll need to sign in for the product you're connecting to CoCounsel.
- After signing in, close the pop-up window.
- Find the files in your third-party DMS and upload them.
- The application uploads the files in the background.
- Once uploaded, you can search for them if you uploaded them to a database or use them when getting CoCounsel Assistance if you uploaded them to a matter.
- You can also review your uploads from the upload screen by selectingView upload history.
