Policy banner
As a CoCounsel administrator, you can set a policy banner to display important AI policies or guidance to your users whenever they access CoCounsel. This ensures that users are informed and aligned with your organizational policies, enhancing compliance and awareness across your organization.
Access user permissions
CoCounsel administrators can access the policy banner by going to the
Admin settings
from the main navigation menu and selecting Policy banner
.Set up the policy banner
- Initially, by default, there is no active message set.
- Administrators can enter text for the policy or guidance message and turn on the banner.
- Once set, the banner will be displayed to users once a day upon sign in when using CoCounsel.

Administrators can set up an AI policy banner that users must acknowledge before using CoCounsel, ensuring they understand the firm's AI usage policy.
Is there an example of how to display an AI policy banner?
Administrators can enter the policy in a text message field, then select
Done
. End users will see it as a banner and can close it by selecting x
.
Once set, how often would users see the banner?
Users will see the banner once every day on sign in.
Will the banner also appear on other surfaces where CoCounsel is embedded?
The banner will only appear on the CoCounsel Application. We plan to make it available on all other surfaces where CoCounsel is accessed.
