Use CoCounsel in Microsoft Teams

CoCounsel is fully integrated with Microsoft Teams. Access its complete skillset without switching between platforms or tools.
To use CoCounsel in Microsoft Teams, you need to have access to the Microsoft Teams App Suite and a valid OnePass account. Your access to certain skills may depend on your organization's subscription.
  1. Open Microsoft Teams and select
    CoCounsel
    from the Teams App Suite.

    CoCounsel will open and display the same skills available on the CoCounsel website.
  2. Enter your request or question in the chat field.
  3. Select
    Send
    to submit your request.
    CoCounsel returns results with citations directly in the chat.
  4. If prompted, select
    Sign In
    to authenticate your account.
    1. In the OnePass sign-in window that appears, enter your OnePass username and password.
    2. Select
      Sign In
      .
      CoCounsel confirms that you have signed in and displays the available skills.
  5. Hover over any citation to review its source details.
    tip
    Selecting the hyperlink within a source opens the full document.
  6. To save your results, select
    Download Result
    to download them, or use the copy option to paste the content elsewhere.
  7. To explore suggested uses for CoCounsel in Teams, select
    View Prompts
    .

    CoCounsel supports a range of tasks, including conducting AI-assisted research, summarizing, and reviewing documents.
  8. When you are ready to begin a new topic, select or type
    New Chat
    .
    CoCounsel treats the next request as a new conversation, not a follow-up to the previous one. The available skills will display again to guide your next request.
