View and edit Organization settings

An Organization in CoCounsel serves as a collective entity that groups users and resources for streamlined management and collaboration. Each organization sets its own settings, resources, and permissions to facilitate efficient teamwork.
  1. To view your Organization settings:
  2. Select your name and go to
    Settings
    Organization
    . Here, you can manage essential information about your firm’s use of CoCounsel, including general settings, integrations, users, and groups.
  3. To edit your Organization settings:
  4. In the
    General
    section, you will see your firm’s
    Name
    and
    Company Domain
    . If you need firm
    Name
    and
    Company Domain
    information changed, send an e-mail to CoCounselTaxAudSup@thomsonreuters.com. You can make selections regarding:
    • Document Retention Settings
      : Define the retention period for a user’s personal Knowledge Base. Toggling this on will allow admins to set a retention period to be within a specific amount of days. Once deleted, references in their conversations and workspaces will also be removed, so users should be notified in advance.
    • Sign-Up Settings
      : Let users with your firm’s domain email sign up and sign in without invitation. If disabled, users must be invited manually.
  5. If you make any changes on this screen, be sure to select
    Save
    .
