Clients and Projects permissions

Clients and projects are based on a client-level permissions model. This means that user access management to a client and all its nested projects are solely managed at the client level. Projects within a client inherit permissions from the client.
  • Client owners or company administrators will be able to add users to a client in the
    Client
    Settings
page. Users can have role owner or collaborator.
  • Users won’t be able to manage or view permissions at the project level.
  • Adding users to clients will automatically provision access to all the projects underneath the client.
  • Owner can create projects within their client. Collaborator can't create projects within their client.
  • You should see a warning/alert indicating that the project permissions are inherited by the client in the client settings and project settings pages.
  • As a company admin, you can bulk create clients and assign them to individual users using an excel template file retrieved by going through the bulk client creation.

  • Company administrators will be able to find all clients and then be able to enter clients and manage user access. Company administrators won’t see projects if they are not an owner or collaborator.
