Use Conversations within Client/Project context

  1. Within the project context, select
    Start a conversation
    in the menu or
    New conversation
to create a new conversation with that project context.
    1. Before you send the first message, you can remove the context by selecting
      X
. This will clear your changes and set the conversation to be created in your private user collection.
    2. Conversations within the
      Client
      Project
context will be able to use mentions (@) across projects you have access to within that client.
  2. Once your new conversation is created, it will be visible to everyone who has access to that client and project context.
    1. Conversations should be scoped to the
      Client
      Project
context and should answer questions based on that project.
  3. Adding a file to a conversation within a project will add it to the project's Conversations folder.
    1. At this time, files added to a project are not subject to the global document retention settings within CoCounsel.
    2. At this time, files within the CoCounsel Knowledge Base can't be accessed in
      Clients
      and
      Projects
. Files will need to be uploaded from your device to be added to a specific
      Client
      Project
      .
    note
    • If you are invited to another team member's client and that client contains projects with Conversations, then you will be able to see those conversations in a read-only format, regardless of whether you created them or not.
    • Conversations you have within a
      Client
      Project
context will also show up in your CoCounsel Conversation History.
