Save a prompt as a template from a new conversation

If you reuse the same prompt across conversations, saving it as a template saves you time and keeps your prompts consistent.
  1. Go to
    Conversations
    , then select
    New
     to begin a new conversation.
  2. In the
    Ask CoCounsel
     composer, type the prompt you want to save.
    important
    The
    Create a template from this prompt
     icon is only available after you enter text in the composer.
  3. In the composer toolbar, select
    Create a template from this prompt
    .
  4. In the
    Create Template
     window, complete the following fields:
    • Type
      : Verify that the correct template type is already set.
    • Title
      : Enter a title for the template. This field is required.
    • Prompt
      : Review the pre-filled prompt text carried over from the composer.
    • Description
      : Optionally, add a description.
    • Access
      : Choose who can use the template.
    • Tags
      : Optionally, add tags.
    • Custom fields
      : Optionally, complete any custom fields.
  5. Select
    Create Template
    .
Your prompt is now saved as a template and is available for reuse in conversations and supported workspaces.
